SIA and its members are committed to advancing the dialogue between the Department of Defense, and related government entities, and commercial satellite industry, from spacecraft builders and launch providers to satellite operators, end-to-end service providers, integrators and ground equipment manufacturers. To facilitate that relationship, SIA partners with key government agencies to offer specialized workshops that target the role of satellites for the U.S. military, state-of-the-art communications technology and applications, and development of satellite capacity and applications for the DoD, Army and Navy.
