SIA Key Issues
Through its Board of Directors , working groups, and membership, the Satellite Industry Association pursues a diverse set of policy issues which:
- Promotes the use of satellite technology and services;
- Promotes sensible regulatory and spectrum policies;
- Encourages public safety and emergency preparedness reliance on satellite technology;
- Rationalizes export controls for satellites;
- Supports fair trade of satellite equipment and services in markets throughout the world.
