The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) represents the unified voice for the commercial satellite industry on policy issues of common concern. SIA actively identifies, analyzes, and monitors critical policy issues affecting the satellite business. The association represents the common interests of its members to domestic and international government officials, the press, the public, and to other industries.

SIA provides satellite companies with a forum to discuss issues of mutual concern, to develop consensus industry positions, and to engage key government decision makers.
