Through its Board of Directors, working groups, and membership, the Satellite Industry Association pursues a diverse set of policy issues with the following goals:

• Promoting the use of satellite technology and services;
• Promoting sensible regulatory and spectrum policies;
• Encouraging public safety and emergency preparedness reliance on satellite technology;
• Rationalizing export controls for satellites;
• Supporting fair trade of satellite equipment and services in markets throughout the world.
