Through its Board of Directors , working groups, and members hip, the Satellite Industry Association pursues a diverse set of policy issues which:

• Promotes sensible regulatory and spectrum policies;
• Encourages public safety and emergency preparedness reliance on satellite technology;
• Rationalizes export controls for satellites;
• Supports fair trade of satellite equipment and services in markets throughout the world.
