Satellite-delivered broadband services are essential to fulfilling the U.S. national policy goal of providing broadband access to all Americans. Satellites deliver three types of broadband: end-user broadband services; middle-mile connectivity for Internet Service Providers; and mobile broadband services. Satellites offer ubiquitous, cost effective, reliable, and high-speed broadband access to anywhere in the United States.
