SIA’s 22nd Annual Satellite Industry Leadership Dinner
SIA’s 22nd Annual Satellite Industry Leadership Dinner will take place on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. SIA will present its Satellite Leadership in Government award to a government employee or member of congress who has demonstrated leadership in issues affecting the satellite industry. The 2018 award was given to Jose Albuquerque, Division Chief of the International Bureau’s Satellite Division at the Federal Communications Commission and keynote addresses were given my FCC Chairman Pai and Department of Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
Each year SIA Executive and Associate members of SIA join senior government officials, CEOs and other senior executives from the satellite industry at this flagship event to underscore the dynamic role that satellite technologies play in the nation’s defense and economy.
